Fish shooting (ban ca): how it plays, bullet levels and multipliers

Fish shooting (ban ca) is a shooting game where every bullet is a bet. When you catch a fish you win the bullet value times that fish’s multiplier. Whether a bullet catches a fish is down to probability, so shooting more does not improve your odds; it only makes you spend faster.

How to play

  1. Pick a room. Rooms differ in their minimum and maximum bullet value.
  2. Pick a bullet level (cannon level). The higher it is, the more each shot costs.
  3. Aim and shoot. Each shot is charged straight away, hit or miss.
  4. Catch a fish. Win = bullet value × the fish’s multiplier.

Fish multipliers

TypeMultiplierWorth knowing
Small fishLowCommon, easier to catch
Medium and large fishMedium to highUsually take more shots
Boss fish, dragons, golden fishHighestRare, often appear in waves

Real multipliers differ per game. The table is in each game’s help screen; check it before you choose a bullet level.

Special weapons

Many games have bombs, lasers, drills or nets that can catch several fish at once. These are built-in features, not “hacks”. How they trigger and what they cost is in each game’s help screen.

Understanding the odds

Each shot has a catch probability you cannot see. High-multiplier fish are usually harder to catch to match. So “pouring bullets into a fish that has been hit a lot” is no sure way to catch it. Costs build quickly because you also pay for every miss.

Keeping spending in check

  • Start in a room with a low bullet value.
  • Set a maximum for the session and stop when it is gone.
  • Turn auto-fire off if it makes your spending hard to follow.

Frequently asked questions

Is fish shooting a game of chance?

Yes. When every shot costs real money and caught fish pay real money, fish shooting is a real-money game based on probability, for adults 18+ only.

Is a fish that has taken many hits about to fall?

Nothing guarantees it. In many games each shot has its own probability, so a fish that has been hit many times is not necessarily about to be caught.

Is auto-fire better?

No. Auto-fire only shoots faster, which means you spend faster.
